Quincy Mumford & The Reason Why held their third annual Holiday concert at the Stone Pony on Friday December 19, 2015. This year, the beneficiary of the concert was Mary's Place by the Sea in Ocean Grove New Jersey.

Hope Concert VII-Count Basie Theatre 12/22/2014

Bobby Bandiera led the 7th Semi-Annual Hope Concert this past week at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank New Jersey. All previous Hope shows have been held at the Count Basie Theatre very near Christmas, with the exception of the first one which was held in April 2003.
As in previous years, the bulk of the show featured guitarist/vocalist Bobby Banidiera leading the house band. Southside Johnny, Jon Bon Jovi and Gary U.S. Bonds were on hand as they have been for every Hope Show so far, along with a few artists who had not yet performed at the concerts. I thought this was one of the best Hope Shows and loved the addition of many of the first time performers.
This years show benefited Horizons in Rumson New Jersey, which helps local children with outreach programs, and the Count Basie Theatres children education programs.

Hidden Mickey's 2014

My family and I have just returned from a great trip to Walt Disney World.
My daughter and I decided to try to find a few Hidden Mickeys in our hotel, and wound up taking note of a few others we found beyond our hotel.
She managed to find a couple of the more difficult ones.
I did circle all the Mickeys despite most of them being very obvious. Here are the new ones we found this trip .
