Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul - Count Basie Theatre 4/18/2023

 Little late in posting this. Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul got together to play a couple local shows here in New Jersey. They acted as house band a couple days earlier for the American Music Honors at the Bruce Springsteen Archive & Center for American Music in Long Branch, and for two shows at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, which were being filmed. We went to the first of the two Red Bank shows and as expected, was not disappointed. 

 The setlist was pretty extensive and filled with many of the classic songs hat Steven wrote for Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, and songs from his solo albums. 

 For only their first full show in years, the band sounded great and once Steven is done touring with the E Street Band, I hope they continue to tour.
