Dave Matthews Band-PNC Banks Arts Center 6-10-2014

  The Dave Matthews Band performed at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel New Jersey last night.
  My first time seeing a full Dave Matthews concert, and I was not dissapointed. I did see the full band back in 2007 at Live Earth, but since it was a multi act concert, their set lasted only 25 minutes.



  Last night show was broken into two sets, the first an acoustic set with both the full band and select members performing. The second set was a full band electric set. His longtime back up singers, The Lovely Ladies joined in at the end of the second set.

Parmalee-Event Center,Freehold NJ 5/15/2014

           Country band Parmalee came to the Event Center at iPlay America in Freehold New Jersey tonight.
     
      Great show which was hosted by Party Marty from Thunder 106.3 and featured opening act Apryl Evans.
     
        Parmalee consists of brothers Matt & Scott Thomas(Guitar/Vocals & drums)along with their cousin Barry Knox(Bass) and longtime friend Josh McSwain(Guitar/Keyboards).They formed in their hometown of Parmalee, North Carolina, where Matt and Scott started out performing with their Father.

The Trusties-Stone Pony,Asbury Park, N.J. 4/26/2014

Local band The Trusties performed their second ever set at the legendary Stone Pony on Saturday April 26.
Comprised on students from Monmouth University, the band has performed several shows at the Brighton Bar in Long Branch, and have a track that will be featured on the upcoming Blue Hawks Records sampler.
 The band is comprised of Rich Pinnola on guitar and vocals, Dave DePaola on bass & guitar, and Andy Jackle on drums.
 The set for this show was comprised mostly of originals, with one cover song. Their shows usually consist of several originals, with a few covers thrown in. Their covers range from Gin Blossoms to The Cars to Sugar Ray to Rush. Surprisingly, they have only played one of the covers more than once, in a concert setting.
 They label themselves as Punk Rock, but this gives a very limited definition of what they are and what they play. The musicianship has gotten tighter and the songs get better with each show, so it's no surprise that they are finding a lot of activity in the area.
 Looking forward to the next show, and whatever surprises they have in store for the audience.
