Yeah...absolutely horrifying, isn't it? I wish it were more surprising, of course. In some ways it feels like a boil bursting; we've been hearing the threats for so long, years, really, that having it actually happen might mean something changes. Or at least that's what I'm holding onto, for now.

Agreed. I have faith this year will get better. Get this garbage out of the way early. You and B are deeply missed.
